Abandoned matches are matches that a player was unable to complete due to external circumstances. If a player's device crashes or the connection is interrupted during a match, the match is marked as “abandoned”. The opposing player automatically wins the match and receives the corresponding prize.
Possible reasons for an abandoned match:
The game was moved to the background during play, e.g. to answer a call or a message.
The game was paused for a longer period of time.
Your device has lost its connection to the Internet during the game.
Tips to avoid abandoned matches:
If possible, play with a stable internet connection, ideally via WLAN.
Make sure that no large downloads or streaming activities are taking place on your network at the same time.
Close unnecessary background applications on your device to optimize its performance.
Make sure your device has enough battery power, as a low battery can affect performance.
After the game, wait until the match result is displayed in the app or browser before switching off the device or leaving the page.
